How to save Palestine:
This post will be REALLY long. I figured the disaster in Palestine and the people who are suffering were worth at least an hour of my time (maybe more) and maybe a few minutes of yours to read this. Anyway, a lot of countries are talking, but this is a real world solution.
As a student of history, I performed an exercise to calculate what would be required to relieve Palestine akin to the Berlin airlift of the 1950s (similarly sized populations).
Obviously, I left Israel out of the equation, but if people REALLY wanted to do something besides talk and actually ACT, maybe we should ask one or more countries to have the balls to present this at the U.N. No vote is needed (it would be blocked anyway).
I was in the Navy, an electrician, on a carrier and a supply ship. I’m not a planning genius, but this is what I came up with…
The world would need just a handful of countries with the guts and the resolve to offer a solution instead of the usual diplomatic hot air. So while you’re writing, make some demands.

(just for the f*ck of it)
Assuming a similar urgency and scale as the Berlin Airlift, here’s a rough estimate to functional restoration of Palestine (and may those that pummeled it to its current condition forever rot in hell).
1. Aircraft Needed
• Population in Gaza: ~2.2 million people
• Daily aid requirement: Estimated at 3,000–5,000 tons of food, water, and medical supplies
• Aircraft capacity: Current cargo planes like the C-130 carry ~ 20 tons
• Sorties needed per day (depending on distance) 150–250.
• To sustain this, you’d need at least 100–150 aircraft rotating continuously, factoring in maintenance, refueling, and turnaround time
Fortunately there are about 1,500 to 1,600 C-130s flying today…U.S. NATO, Australia, Canada, UK, Japan, others.
2.Airports capable of supporting C130s
• Cairo International Airport (Egypt)
• King Hussein Air Base (Jordan)
• Riyadh Air Base (Saudi Arabia)
• Incirlik Air Base (Turkey)
• Larnaca Airport (Cyprus)
• Queen Alia Airport (Jordan)
• RAF Brize Norton (United Kingdom)
• Évreux-Fauville Air Base (France)
• Ramstein Air Base (Germany)
• Pisa Air Base (Italy)
• Skrydstrup Air Base (Denmark)
• Linz-Hörsching Airport (Austria)
• Athens Eleftherios Venizelos (Greece)
• Uppsala Air Base (Sweden)
But where would we get the food, water and medical supplies?
3. To source 3,000 to 5,000 tons of aid daily for Palestinians—similar to the Berlin Airlift scale would require a coordinated effort across governments, NGOs, and international relief agencies.
Here’s how it could be done:
Government Stockpiles & Aid Agencies
• UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency): Already provides food, water, and medical aid to millions of Palestinians.
• World Food Programme (WFP): Has regional warehouses and logistics hubs in Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon.
• International Red Cross & Red Crescent: Supplies emergency medical kits and water purification systems.
• National Governments: Countries like Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt have historically contributed large volumes of aid.
NGO Distribution Networks
• Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP): Delivers critical health supplies and emergency kits
• HEAL Palestine: Runs kitchens and water distribution programs in northern Gaza, recently delivering thousands of liters of water and food parcels
• Action for Humanity: Reached over 190,000 people with food, hygiene kits, and medical aid since late 2023
Commercial & Local Procurement
• Bulk purchasing from regional suppliers in Egypt and Jordan could speed up logistics.
• Local farms and bakeries (where safe and operational) can supplement food supply.
• Water tankers and desalination units can be dropped and deployed for clean water access.
This will work best with designated and secured drop areas. Unfortunately many local airfields have been destroyed, however, the talented resources to restart that quickly are out there in the world’s armies.
Anyway, there’s the elements of a solution. I think it can be done. I don’t know if these f*ckers have the spine - but I know it all starts with a plan. So I threw some darts on the wall. Oh, by the way, this could be supplemented with drones for things like medical supplies and precision needs. - I challenge humanity!!
Pray for Peace
